Otoplasty is not really painful for children from 7 to 8 years.
The experience is a bit more painful when the operation is performed during the adolescence, but these pains are totally relieved by simple painkillers.
We often realise this intervention before School Holiday ( Toussaint in October ,February, Easter …) in order to let the child rest completely during the period bandages.
